Since Friday was a weekend in Qatar and myself living in India, it was weird to have a free day in between. It will be weirder to have a class on Sunday too.

3^rd session of ADM’s 100 days digital mastery challenge was an awaited one. Mr. Shan had made a lot of promises for this session in Day 2 od Asheghar Digimentors Digital Master. Mainly, it is because he had assured to talk in detail about Affiliate Marketing Strategies, which he himself vouch for as an assured income strategy.

So I was enthusiastic enough to attend the session giving my cent percent attention. Mades some tea, setup my Laptop, and got ready for the 3^rd session of .

And I am glad to say, my attention was worth it. He started off with basics of Affiliate marketing and its possibilities in the existing online marketing scenario. As for me, one who has been wondering about how to start implementing the ideas, mottos and strategies Mr. Shan has been talking, this seems like a good place to start working toeards. Unlike my usual self, where I doze off to anything important being taught, even I am surprised I sat through the whole session with complete ‘consciousness’. Well, That is one hell of a feat Mr. Shan. Congratulations unto him. *claps* My tutors will be proud.

And here we go with the highlights of the session

He started the session with the possibilities of Affiliate marketing. 
Introduction with Affiliate World Asia, an international conference of Affiliate marketers was great. Easily made us understand about the huge market waiting with full of opportunities.

What is Affiliate marketing?

In Affiliate Marketing e-stores, we are simply providing visitors an easy way to find the product they are looking for at best price by checking multiple retailers at once.

It is basically a relationship between Advertise, Publisher and Consumer.

When a customer makes a purchase from that website, we earn profit, commission, advertisement fee etc.

Different types of affiliate commissions would be CPC, CPL, CPM, CPS etc. based on different company's policies.

Advantages of Affiliate Marketing

• Basically its stress free. 
• We do not take money directly from customers.
• No need to worry about legalities or registrations.

The commission scheme and the affiliate policies might not be publicly published in the site.

You can usually get access to it by signing up yourselves to become affiliate for free.

Almost all affiliate programs seen online are free of cost. Or else it is not recommended.

To have enough income potential with your affiliate programs, it is recommend to work at least 10-15 hours a week on it regularly by implementing and monitoring strategies and techniques.

As for Affiliate marketing, the best exit plan to have would be, Website flipping. Website flipping is basically the process of buying a website, working on it, improving it and finally selling it for a better price.

In conclusion, As I said earlier, this session brought me the perspective as to where to start in this huge world of Online marketing. Also how much work I should put into this to achieve something good as 100 dollars per day. I do know its not that easy to implement all these tricks and tactics all at once and wait for a quick result. 

The summary I gave above is a diluted version of what it really is. And what is it really? I hope I will find the answers to it in the upcoming days. As of now, I think I am committed enough to go ahead and complete my 100 days digital mastery challenge. Didn’t have much expectations about the program once I started off. Having even very little understanding about something can increase our demand.

It is becoming an even harder job for Mr. Shan to keep the spirits up once the attendees’ have an increased demand owing to their increased knowledge about the field.
